History of the Business

Owners, Rio and Fine Score are pleased to fill you in on a little bit of the history of RIOFINE NEON INC.

Rio Score is a 3rd generation glass bender/sign manufacture, taught the trade by his grandfather in Los Angeles, CA. He mastered the art of neon signage while working for 15 years at his grandfather's sign company, which opened in 1946.

Influenced by the beauty of the desert, Rio and Fine opened Riofine Neon in 1990. Today their company consists of a showroom, neon plant and an up to date manufacturing facility. Through it all, it has maintained a family owned and operated business with a highly qualified staff and the fourth generation is currently learning the very unique trade.

Our past works have included numerous projects within the film industry for science-fiction and period pieces, as well as residential works and commercial installations. We are often consulted by other neon craftsmen and companies to complete projects that are beyond their own capabilities.

Through the changing times we have grown into a diverse, well qualified and competitive sign company. We always stay up-to-date with the latest technology in the sign industry and are willing to produce for our customer the newest fads or bring back that timeless neon look.
